Joining A Syndicate

So you've seen a PUBLIC syndicate on offer and you'd like to join, but are unsure to how to go about it. It's easy, just follow these easy steps: 1. Email us and let us know your interested. We'll pencil you in accordingly temporarily for a few days whilst you fix up the financials and send off the contract. 2. Download the contract for the specific Greyhound from the FOR SALE page and send this back to us within 48 hours. We submit these contracts to GRSA when making the syndicate official. 3. Make your payment with 48 hours. There are two options we have here - the first is to pay the share amount in full, or secondly the 20% deposit within 48 hours and the rest within 5 working days. 4. You will need to be a registered owner in your state of residence. Please see below for information regarding obtaining a Greyhound Owners License. 5. When filling out your contract please be thorough and make sure all details including your bank details are in full and correct. Email address is important. We also need both pages. We'll need to know details such as number of people interested, your budget and other details you think might be necessary. Maybe you'd like a dog in a certain state, for example. After we have found you a Greyhound, then follow these steps: 1. Download the contract for the specific Greyhound from the FOR SALE page and send this back to us within 48 hours. We submit these contracts to GRSA when making the syndicate official. All Syndicate Members need to return this contract within the allocated time. 2. Make your payment with 48 hours. We ask for payment in full for total amount within 48 hours. 3. All Members will need to be a registered owner in their state of residence. Need An Owners License?

Please note: As from July 2007 people in NSW do not require an owners license. Every syndicate member at Team Bundy needs to be a Licensed Greyhound Owner. We can assist you in obtaining an owners license in your state. Please contact your racing Authority in your state or contact us here at Team Bundy. Its simple and easy and quite often cheap or free depending on where you live. Even if you do not have an owners license, you can proceed with joining a syndicate but ask you take action to obtain one as soon as its possible.

What Happens after I've Paid?

Once we have your payment and contract then relax... and get ready to enjoy the thrill and excitement of Greyhound Racing!... We let you know via email that payment and contract has been received. Once we have everyones contract, license numbers and payment in full we submit the necessary form to GRSA to make the syndicate official. We keep you upto date with regular updates. You will be informed of everything to do with your Greyhound including race alerts and trials. Random Questions we are commonly asked by email and phone - we have put these here to make your syndication experience that little bit easier. Note: This Section Under Construction and will be constantly added too. Q: How often do you have new syndicates available? A: Team Bundy is extremely picky and cautious when getting a Greyhound to Syndicate. We only get dogs that meet strict standards and guidelines, thus, we dont have as many open syndicates as other companies. Q: What happens to the Greyhounds after the Syndicate has finished racing with them? A: When a Greyound has finished, we put it to the syndicate what they would like to do with Professional opinions from us. Normally, we'd suggest a Pet or the GAP Program, but other options are selling or breeding, for example - if we have a good bitch. It's hard to say what will happen, every dog will have a different situation. Q: When do you pay out Prize Money? A: When the trainer sends it to us. This usually happens within the first 10 days of each month. If the amount is only minimal we sometimes carry forward to the next month. We pay directly into your nominated Bank Account. Q: How is Prize Money worked out? A: We use trainers on a 50/50 basis. What this means is we split the Prizemoney won by the greyhound down the middle, 50% each, then I distribute to the syndicate - the amount depending on what percentage you own of the Greyhound. Q: Can you get a winners photo? A: Sure can, I can arrange or advise on how to obtain when the time comes. -- We are more than happy to assist you with any other questions and queries.
